Anthony Ross
Environmental & Public Health International (EPHI) is a leader in drinking water training and capacity building, with a focus on lessons from the Flint Water Crisis. Our programs support efforts to improve drinking water quality and protect public health at the federal, state, and local levels.
EPHI provides specialized training to federal regulators, state primacy agencies, and public water system operators—using real-world insights from Flint to strengthen safe drinking water practices and help prevent future public health emergencies.
Our work directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). The Lead Service Line Replacement Cost Calculator (LSLRCC), developed by EPHI, is recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for advancing drinking water equity, infrastructure resilience, and public health.
EPHI was founded by Anthony Ross, who brings over 12 years of experience with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As EPA’s Flint Safe Drinking Water Act Emergency Coordinator, he played a pivotal role in ensuring safe drinking water for the people of Flint during one of the nation’s most significant public health crises.
